Terms of Service

Last updated: July 3, 2026

The service

Low Voltage New York ("LVNY") is a contractor referral and matching service. We connect commercial projects with independent, licensed low-voltage contractors ("partner contractors"). LVNY is not itself a contractor and does not perform installation work.

Estimates and contracts

Estimates are prepared and provided by partner contractors. Any contract for work is between you and the contractor you hire; LVNY is not a party to that contract. While we require partner crews to maintain licensing and insurance appropriate to their work and region, you are responsible for your own due diligence before hiring.

No warranties

The site and matching service are provided "as is." LVNY disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding contractor performance, project outcomes, and site content, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Content on this site is general information, not engineering, legal, or code-compliance advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LVNY's total liability arising out of your use of the service will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). LVNY is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Acceptable use

Don't submit false project information, scrape the site, or use it to solicit our partner contractors for competing referral services.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
